T0116. The Owls Talk about Akbar's Forests

Akbar is razing villages to create hunting grounds, so the people beg Birbal for help. When hunting next time, Akbar asks Birbal what the owls are saying. Birbal says they are fighting over a dowry; the girl-owl's father does not have the forty forests he needs for the dowry, but soon he will have eighty, because Akbar is making forests. Akbar realizes he is being selfish about the forests.
