Akbar's brother-in-law leads revolt, so Akbar declares all brothers-in-law must die. Birbal gets the brother-in-law to give up the revolt, and then proceeds to build thousands of gallows, including one of silver and one of gold. Akbar asks about the unusual gallows. Birbal explains, "The gold is for you; the silver for me. We are all brothers-in-law." Akbar rescinds the order.
Notes: In the version I did for the book, I had Akbar go ahead and execute the treacherous brother-in-law on those gallows of gold.
