Two women claim the same baby. Akbar's brother-in-law threatens to cut the baby in half, but both beg for mercy. Birbal brings glass of poisoned milk: "Make baby drink it, or drink it yourself," he says. One woman is ready to feed it to the baby, but the other woman grabs it and drinks it herself. The milk is not poisoned, and now Birbal knows who the true mother is.
