T0342. The Thief and the Manure

Nasruddin worries about where to hide his money; finally he finds a safe place somewhere up high. The thief has watched him and steals the money, replacing it with manure. Nasruddin can imagine how a thief got there, but how could a cow ever manage to get up that high?

Notes: The high place varies: on top of a flagpole, on top of some kind of high hill, etc. The animal is a cow, an ox, etc. In some versions, it is mischievous boys and not a thief.
