A neighbor asks to borrow Nasruddin's donkey. Nasruddin says, "No! My psychic donkey said you would treat her poorly and bad-mouth me." The neighbor starts yelling at Nasruddin! "I see the donkey was right," Nasruddin says.
Notes: In some versions, Nasruddin expresses the donkey's warning this way: they will mistreat me, I will bite them, and they will blame you.
