Nasruddin thinks he has lost axe (it's on his belt). He prays to God, offering eight sacks of barley for help. As he prays, the axe falls from his belt. "Thank you, God!" Nasruddin says. "Since you did such a good job with the axe, maybe you can get me the barley I owe you."
