Nasruddin meets sad man by the side of the road, traveling in search of joy, but he can't find it. Nasruddin steals his purse and runs. Using shortcuts he gets ahead of the man on the road and leaves his purse there. As the man travels along even more sadly, he finds his purse and rejoices. Nasruddin sees what happened: the quest for joy was successful!
