T0114. The Sadhu and the Widow's Money

A poor widow buries copper coins in sadhu's hut before going on a pilgrimage; she comes back and the coins are gone. Birbal makes plan with her to get the money back. Birbal tells sadhu he wants to leave jewels in his keeping. The woman then enters; the mendicant realizes jewels are worth more, so he returns coins to her. Birbal had arranged to then be called away. Mendicant has nothing in the end.
