T0103. The Tailor Wants Two Coins

Nasruddin's coat is too big, and the tailor wants two gold coins to take it in. "If I had that much money," says Nasruddin, "I'd eat more and the coat would fit!"

Notes:

Here's my short version:

Nasruddin’s coat had become too large, so he took it to the tailor to be altered.
“That will cost two gold coins,” said the tailor.
Nasruddin was outraged. “If I had that kind of money,” he said, “I’d be able to buy enough food to eat so that my coat would not be too large!”
