Nasruddin is sawing branch out from under him. Passerby says he will fall. After he falls, Nasruddin is convinced the passerby is a fortuneteller.
Notes: In some versions, this leads to another story where the supposed fortune-teller gives Nasruddin a sign of death (like donkey braying) which leads Nasruddin to think he has died; see T0385.
This show up in Abstemius or somewhere in the later Aesop?
